About Old Style 7

The origins of the Old Style 7 font family lie in the Old Styles produced by the Scottish type foundry, Miller and Richard, in the middle of the nineteenth century. This particular face was recut by the Bruce Type foundry, in the USA, in the early 1970's. Although called 'old style' they do not have the stress associated with true old style types, and are thus considered as transitional designs. Use Old Style 7 for text setting in books, magazines etc.
