ITC Mixage font

In ITC Mixage, Italian designer Aldo Novarese cleverly combined the character shapes and proportions reminiscent of such typefaces as Syntax and Antique Olive with a grace and warmth that can only come from a calligraphic influence. A good alternative to more traditional sans serif designs, ITC Mixage features character stems that are slightly flared at the ends. The capital "M" is splayed and the lowercase "f" and "t" feature a single-sided crossbar. Also, the lowercase "b" is drawn without a foot. ITC Mixage is available in four weights, book, medium, bold and black, each with a corresponding italic, under a special license from Haas Typefoundry in Switzerland. The book and medium weights also include free small caps and oldstyle figures.
