About Glypha

The Glypha font was designed by Adrian Frutiger in 1979. Glypha is a revival of the early English slab serif types, but more condensed and elegant. The ascenders and descenders are particularly short, offering a large x-height that contributes to its extraordinary legibility. Glypha is a square-serif type that works well in both text and display applications. Glypha™ is a trademark of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, which may be registered in certain jurisdictions, exclusively licensed through Linotype Library GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG.
